Give It Some Effort

When I asked a friend to take this quick clip at the gym, I thought I would save it and it into some sort of promotional package. And I'll probably do that. I'm posting it here on the Fitness Motivation blog because I was surprised at the apparent effort displayed on my face. My eyes are bugging out of my head. This surprised me, It was a little freaky at first. But then I thought, "that's a lot of effort." I just thought that it was noteworthy.

Consider if maybe you're just walking through your workout. Could you give it a little more effort? A lot more effort? Just consider it.

She's an Inspiration

I have known Mary from my gym for several years now. Recently, she underwent a knee replacement procedure. Lots of people have these procedures. The procedure itself isn't what impressed me. What really blew me away, was that Mary returned to the gym just 6 days after the surgery. Can you believe it? She was back at the gym in just 6 days.

This sure eliminates any excuses for the rest of us. Check out the video. After we wrapped this quick clip, Mary really started talking about fitness, youth and life energy. So she agreed to do an longer interview very soon. Look for that in the future. For now, enjoy this one.

"You Look Great"

I heard this comment 3 times at the gym this morning. And it was unsolicited. Ahh, doesn't that feel great? Of course we don't workout and feel and look great just so that we get compliments. But it still feels good and acts as a reward.

So, go out and get some compliments. Even better, go out and give some compliments. Make somebody feel great. It will come back to you. You can believe that.

Strive for something
